February 4th: BSU Film Screening: “The League” by Byron Motley

Directed by Sam Pollard and co-produced with Academy Award winner “Questlove”, chronicles Byron’s late father Bob Motley (a Negro League umpire) throughout the film.

Survey says… Black brilliance! Join us for a high-energy game where teams go head-to-head answering campus-rooted questions that celebrate our collective wisdom, and sparks joy and laughter.

February 17th: We Are the Architects: Black Futures in Motion
12:00- 1:30 pm | Student Activities Center, Bertolini 1st Floor
An immersive and interactive workshop where imagination meets entrepreneurship. Design future worlds, build bold ideas, and shape what comes next—Black by design.

February 18th: Rhythm, Roots, and Resilience: Black History Through African & Liberian Culture
2:00 - 3:30 pm | Petaluma Intercultural Center
This interactive event will explore Black history through the lens of African and Liberian culture, focusing on identity, resilience, and the power of rhythm and community. The session will include storytelling, discussion, and a live drumming circle experience that highlights music as a tool for communication, healing, and cultural preservation across the African diaspora. Students will engage in reflection and participation while learning how culture continues to shape Black history beyond textbooks.
 
February 19th: The Blueprint in Balance- Reiki Infused Sound Bath
2:00 - 3:30 pm | Student Activities Center, Bertolini 1st Floor
Let sound and energy work together to support grounding, clarity, and inner peace. This Reiki-infused sound bath invites deep rest and gentle renewal for mind, body, and spirit.

February 25th: Still Becoming- BLOCed in Time
10:30 - 2:00 pm | Student Activities Center, Bertolini 1st Floor
Honor the past. Name the present. Speak to the future. Join us as we create a time capsule that captures who we’ve been, who we are, and who we’re becoming. Bring small items that represent your journey—a note to your future self, a photocopy, a symbol of growth, a goal, or something that holds meaning for you. We’re sealing memories. We’re planting legacy. Be part of it.
 
February 27th: The Blueprint AfroFest Ball
7:00 - 11:00 pm | Student Activities Center, Bertolini 1st Floor
End Black History Month in motion. This dance finale celebrates Black legacy, joy, and the futures we’re building—together. Come dance, connect, and move freely in a space rooted in culture, community, and collective joy. This isn’t just a party; it’s a celebration of who we are and what’s ahead.

Lunch or Refreshments will be served at all events.
